There are many types of Cajun foods that simply must be eaten sometime within your life. No matter what you find to be interesting about Cajun food, you can enjoy great tastes and a good mix of culture by trying these different recipes. Some Cajun foods have peppers that are hot. All are simply good and full of spices.

This includes a mix called the "holy trinity" of onion, celery, and bell pepper. All are finely diced and used in many of foods in the culture. One of the main types of food served is the jambalaya.
